Our classroom is a vibrant, fun, and engaging community of learners. With at least 80% of my students speaking Spanish as their home language, I am incredibly proud of the progress each one is making in reading and all areas of English Language Arts. Although many students began the school year at the 20th percentile, it’s been amazing to see their growth and progress—there’s nothing more rewarding than watching them improve. The best part of teaching, though, is the privilege of sharing this journey with my awesome second graders every day!
