These books will assist my learners in getting unplugged from technology and have actual books in hand. Readers are leaders and this will help my students increase the love of reading actual books. These books will support my guided reading program and increase their reading levels to meet benchmarks. These books will be presented to learners as guided reading leveled texts. Our school uses benchmark based on meeting levels in second grade. We presently assess students 3 times a year with benchmark goals to meet or exceed. Reading is Essential!
