I teach 8th grade English Language Arts at Houston County Middle School, where I help students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Through engaging lessons, we explore literature, practice writing skills, and connect ideas to real-life experiences. In addition to ELA, I teach a Response to Intervention (RTI) class, focusing on building foundational reading and writing skills for students who need extra support. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive classroom where all students feel encouraged to take on challenges, develop their abilities, and build confidence. Every day, I strive to inspire a love for learning and empower students to succeed in both academics and life.
