Our campus, a Title 1 public school, serves grades K-5th students offers programs in general education, special education, bilingual, and dual-language (English/Spanish) classes. Our demographics include many diverse cultures. We serve Hispanic, Latino, Vietnamese, Native and African American students. Many different languages are spoken at our campus.
Most of our students 98% of them come from economically disadvantaged families. Consequently, many lack access to learning resources that could spark their imagination. I serve as an In-class support teacher in the special education department. All of the students I serve are unique and special in their own ways, yet all want the same opportunities- to learn at their highest potential.
My students come from low-income families and face challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
Give them an equal playing field.
