My students are 8th graders, mainly young men, who are good kids, funny, curious, social and cautious about trusting teachers who are new to them. For me, building trust requires demonstrating I care about them. I do that by advocating for them with donors who are friends of education with a desire to serve the underprivileged. I look forward to our celebrating your generous gifts to them!
