The preschoolers in my special education classroom thrive when given the opportunity to develop their rote skills and their daily functional skills through structured play. We strengthen these skills through the use of specific toys that provide them with the visual supports that they may require, and that provide them with the opportunity to learn how to develop functional skills that their neurotypical peers may have already mastered.
My students excel when provided with toys and materials that have been seen to benefit young learners with special needs. By donating to my project, you will help give my students the chance to become more independent, functional learners.
