Hello, welcome to my ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ page. I teach 1st grade in a title 1 school in Memphis, TN. My students are first graders, aged 6 to 7 and they are eager and motivated to learn new things. They enjoy hands-on activities, reading books and using technology.
Most of my students enter school lacking basic skills such as letter recognition, name writing and counting skills. Low-income children often do not get the outside enrichment opportunities such as music, dance, art or sports lessons and trips to museums, historical site and other places.
The teachers at my school work hard to give our students the best education and to provide them with a safe, engaging learning environment.
