With all the changes in the classroom and school routines due to COVID-19, I would love to be able to give my students an opportunity to move while learning. I have seen so many benefits to flexible seating and I think this year that will be more important than ever. Students will be transitioning back from Virtual Learning and while we would love to have our normal routine back, we will have to move with caution. I am hoping that providing flexible seating in the classroom will allow more movement for students during their day, and get them excited about each day! I hope this allows for them to see a benefit to movement and exercise, as well as help to keep their mind focused and ready. Third grade is a challenging year, and hopefully this will only help my students to find their success.
