In the mornings we have center time in our classroom when morning work is finished. This gives me the opportunity to work one-on-one with students who are struggling. While I am working with small groups, my intent is to keep my other students engaged in learning, yet having fun. I would set these games up on tables in the room and put students in groups. Each group of students would rotate through each group every ten minutes until everyone has been to each group. I would be able to strategically pair/group students to address their learning needs. Meanwhile, I can make time for the students who need a little extra instruction in areas that others have mastered.
