My classroom serves students in a Setting 4 special education program. All students receive individualized support due to significant behavioral needs that cannot be met in a general education environment. The class provides a highly structured setting with small group instruction, embedded social-emotional learning, and behavioral interventions to help students build academic skills, self-regulation strategies, and positive peer interactions. We work intentionally to improve behavior and provide students with the tools they need to successfully reintegrate with their peers in their home district schools.
