Our classroom is crowded with tables and chairs. When the students push their chairs out they hit each other. There is no room to more. They are middle schoolers-they need to move. Students will be able to bounce, lay, stand, or sit.
With the alternative seating choices we have selected, we will be able to move tables and chairs out of the room thus making more room for movement. Also, these seating choices will also allow students to move naturally while sitting or maybe even standing.
The students will have choices of where to sit and learn, rather than just a table and chair.
