My students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds and often face financial and educational challenges that can impact their learning experiences. They may have limited access to books, technology, and other resources at home, making school libraries and classrooms essential for their academic growth. These students may also experience housing or food insecurity, requiring additional support to thrive in their education. Despite these challenges, they are resilient, eager to learn, and benefit greatly from opportunities that provide equitable access to quality educational materials and experiences.
