Welcome to my seventh-grade math classroom, where integrated co-teaching (ICT) brings two teachers together to spark learning in a vibrant, inclusive space! Picture a room alive with collaboration: one group of students sketches graphs on whiteboards, erasing and refining their work as they go, while another huddles with us to solve a tricky word problem, pencils scratching away. Our diverse learners—some with special needs, others racing ahead—thrive side-by-side, guided by tailored support and a shared love for discovery.
You’d see desks scattered with well-worn pencils, erasers down to nubs, and a floor that bears the marks of our busy days—spilled markers, dust from enthusiastic erasing, and the occasional paper scrap from a hands-on fraction activity. We weave math into real life, like calculating the cost of a class party or measuring angles in a mini-construction project.
