My students are 4 to 6-year-olds from highly vulnerable backgrounds—many face instability, emotional stress, and traumatic home environments. For them, school is a safe haven, often the only place where they feel loved, supported, and able to learn. Some have autism or developmental delays, and all need intentional, compassionate teaching to unlock their potential.
