This year, I will be teaching K-6th grade Multiple Subject Intervention. My students are currently at least 2 grades behind on CA State Standards. My classroom will be hosting small group instruction with the support of a Classified Instructional Aide. We will be using differentiated teaching techniques and plan to implement flex seating to help them catch up to grade level. Most of my students are English Learners and come from low-socioeconomic homes. Their low test scores may be due to their low acquisition of the English language. Some students need additional practice with skills or lack resources at home to support their learning needs. I also have students that have SSTs and Intervention is a part of their academic plan to qualifying them for additional Special Resources. I appreciate your time and support with my students. We really appreciate it.
