I teach K-5 STEM, which means I see every elementary student in an entire district, at three different schools. My students come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, and I want to make sure they all have access to the materials for a meaningful learning experience. Students come to my class to do "fun stuff," and as their teacher I want to provide them with learning opportunities that they will remember and that enhance their critical thinking and creativity.
