My students are second graders at a Title 1 school who hold big dreams but are dealt precious few resources. They are no strangers to hardships and yet still come to school with optimism and smiles. Despite their circumstances, my students are familiar with some technology and for several of them, can actually shine in their knowledge of them. They usually know someone who has an iPad or have used a parents phone to play learning games on and are extremely successful with them showing that they ARE very smart children!
