Because we live in a low poverty level area, I know some of my students have enough problems outside of school and come to school to feel safe and valued. Allowing them the opportunity for students to come into class and not stress about a misplaced pencil because I will be able to provide an extra; or being able to color and not have to use a neighbor's crayon, will help the students learn the value of materials. This will also help students know that people care about them and their education. Each donation helps with the materials for my students and help them become successful in school through many different ways.
