Becoming a skilled reader is so important for success in school! I want to build on my students' passion for books and read alouds by giving them a leveled library full of beautiful books at their level that they can read independently. In our classroom, students select books at their level to keep in book boxes to use for independent reading. Our current leveled library is a good start, but some students have already read all the books at their level, leaving them wanting more.
These books will provide students with the opportunity to read, read, read and practice the skills learned in reading groups. Help my students reach their goal of learning to read this school year!
