My students love to move around the room while learning. I've chosen the stools as alternative seating options, which will help them learn the way they like best, and enhance learning across our day. Flexible seating options allow students to quickly and easily pair up, work in small groups, or discuss as a whole class – without moving desks. These stools are lightweight, yet sturdy, and will easily be moved around the room. This type of movement can help children focus and process information. The stools I’ve requested will also foster peer conversations and cooperative learning.
Additional stools in our classroom will provide them the opportunity to get out of their traditional classroom desk, collaborate, and thrive as they learn together. Flexible seating is a student-centered option to keep my students actively engaged during our day. The stools will allow my students a chance to work together, enabling problem-solving and thinking skills.
