I am a Special Education Resource teacher for grades kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th. My students all have a learning disability which impacts the way they learn. My students learn best when they can interact with concepts rather than just read them. I pull my students out for extra help in both reading and math. My school is a wonderful, but lacks all the funds need to purchase hands on materials for my students to use.
