The Microsoft Surface Pro will allow me to have ALL thirty of my students on one screen at the same time, during Distance Learning, so I can monitor their engagement in the lessons I am teaching. Currently I can only get 25 students on one screen so I have to scroll to another screen to see what they are doing which interrupts the flow of the lesson. This Surface Pro will also make my instruction more accessible to students as I write and draw directly on the screen instead of having to move my eyes from the screen to write on a mini whiteboard behind me. My engagement with students will be more interactive, pleasant, and positive for everyone. Distance Learning has created an isolation type atmosphere which I am trying to overcome by creating an environment that brings us all together.
