The art center in my classroom is my focus. As evident by my rainbow entrance, early art for children builds a strong foundation for development in many areas. During free play, my students love to explore the art materials. New and exciting items are changed out weekly and their art is displayed from floor to ceiling in my classroom.
As we are going through our supplies quickly, my project will fully restock consumable items. Paint and collage items seem to be a favorite. I would love to add the colorful tape spools to add to their creativity and allow them access to child safe tape to hang their art as they choose. The bins will be used as a drying area for their artwork. They love to admire their creations and talk about their work to their friends. This not only builds their fine motor skills and creativity, it also boosts their confidence and allows for social interactions. Every child is an artist and deserves unlimited supplies and bins to store and dry their creations.
