Students learn a variety of skills throughout the year in Library class. They learn how to locate both print and online resources for research, an appreciation for literature, and technology skills such as keyboarding and coding. Having iPads in the library will improve instruction in all of these areas. The Apple iPads will be utilized by students to read stories at centers, research information on the subject of their choice, to practice coding, and even find a just-right book for them by watching book trailers. There are many apps for education that we have not been able to use in the library because of our limited technology. We would love to have these additional resources!
