Hands on learning is an incredible way for students to explore and learn more about our natural world, the processes inside the earth, and the vast universe. The materials in this project are designed to help aid instruction and facilitate group work. The document camera makes modeling (for example, creating something for a lab) easy for the whole class to see, not just the kids "up front"; writable globes allow for a multitude of topics to be learned, from plate tectonics to wind belts and ocean currents; a stream table allows for students to visually see how water changes a landscape while changing variables such as discharge and gradient!
