These Kindle Fires will be used in my classroom every day. For literacy, students will work on comprehension, phonics, print awareness, spelling, sight words and writing. They will be able to listen to fluent reading, read leveled books, as well as, work/play educational apps. For math, students will work on math facts and fluency skills. The cases will be used to protect the tablets from slippery little hands and the headphones will be used to keep the classroom quiet for the students in other centers. My kindergartners will use these daily during math and reading centers. These Fire tablets will enable my students to grow, learn and explore new age technology everyday while practicing and reinforcing fundamental skills set up for their individual success! With these tablets they will be able to light that "Fire" for learning!
