As my students enter the classroom they all notice the clear touch board with instructions for the daily assignment written on it. The students began to say, “May I work the next problem”? Even my students that struggle are eager to go to the board! However, by the time 2 or 3 students have worked a problem they start asking May I get a Clorox wipe or some hand sanitizer? If the Clorox sanitizer wipes and the hand sanitizer was available at the board the students would be able to grab one or squirt some hand sanitizer and return to their seats with delay or conversing about the markers be dirty or nasty.
