Flexible seating will allow my students to be in charge of their seating and what works best for them! Students will come in the room in the mornings and choose the seat or area that they would like to sit it in. Currently my students sit either at their desk or on the floor. I have a few pillows, some scoop seats and some donut seats the kids love those. Making sure that students are comfortable is essential in motivating them to do their work and in their behavior. My first grade students are between the ages of 6-7 and are very busy all the time. They constantly have the wiggles and are looking for ways to move.
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools and the ball seats will allow students to sit at desk or tables and still be able to wiggle. The soft seats will be great for use on the floor with clip boards or a low table. The bench will allow for additional comfortable seating options.
