My students are nothing less than amazing! Although only in third grade, they are already so unique. I have a very diverse class of 29. In my class alone, there are 21 different languages spoken at home. As you might imagine, the language barrier can make parent communication and involvement difficult. Some of my students have wonderful parents who are able to be involved and further learning at home. Unfortunately, it is often times the students struggling who receive no support at home. This year our state test was rewritten for rigor and our pacing was sped up. I believe that my students can succeed and they appreciate your support in helping them do so.
