These students are the furthest from meeting the standards the state has set for all children. They are from a low-socioeconomic environment, which the government defines as those students who are failing or most at risk of failing to meet state standards in academic achievement. Based on what I know these students are far from what you get when you encounter them. They are energetic, kind, compassionate, ambitious and eager learners who look beyond their surroundings to get & use what they can to achieve. The students can learn if only given a fair chance like their peers in neighboring counties. Besides, these obstacles the students' come with the best attitude and work hard especially with a variety of activities and the use of technology.
