My students need the use of technology in the classroom everyday. The current textbooks have online tutorial, remediation, enrichment, and IXL for the students to reinforce their concepts on a daily basis. If you keep the students engaged, they will enjoy learning. Each week the students will be working in Math Stations to keep them engaged. My goal is to have a Station of 4-6 laptops. Each student has their own learning style and Math Stations (technology being one of those stations) cater to each of those needs. The two laptops will be used within the Math Stations on projects, math games, math tutorial videos, Google Classroom assignments, and more. If I had Laptops in the classroom for the students to use they could engage in more project based learning. I will have each student on the computer switching every 20 minutes throughout the day. Math can be difficult for most students and need additional support to see it work differently or just need to watch a video that shows them the how and why.
