It is hard to teach higher level mathematical concepts to students when you do not have ample resources. If awarded the calculators, I can show my students various ways in which the TI-84 will help solve mathematical problems.
If given these calculators, I will be able to expose my students to different formulas, graphs, tables and computations in which to solve problems. I will also be given a chance to familiarize them with this piece of technology which will be beneficial to them in their future math courses at the school and beyond. These calculators will help to enhance instruction in my classroom and will keep my students engaged in their learning.
