My school is located in the heart of an inner city in Florida. With this being said, most of the kids that attend my school are apart of low income families. Since I teach elementary school many of kids are still very determined to make something of themselves. They have big dreams and want to make them realities. They also, however, have to deal with grown up issues such as being homeless, wondering where their next meal is going to come from and if they will ever get out of the situation they are in. Yet somehow they come to school everyday with a smile on their face ready to learn. I know there are some adults that aren't that strong. They are amazing children and I am blessed to have them a part of my life. I am so proud of who they are and who they are going to become.
