My school is a large school which recently earned its first "A" rating from the state of Florida. My students come from diverse backgrounds -- many are immigrants or children of immigrants -- and have diverse interests. Some students love to draw and make art, while others are less confident in their creative abilities. For a lot of my students, art class is a welcome respite from the pressures of academic classes.
