Thank you for considering my project. My name is Adam Walsh, an 8th grade Language Arts teacher in Evanston, IL. Evanston is a very diverse community in many ways. I take pride in teaching my students how to relate to one another, especially since my classes are made up of so many different backgrounds. We have found that when we take the time to listen to one another, we have far more commonalities than differences. When students come to realize that, it is extraordinary. My goal is to provide as many positive experiences as possible before my students graduate and head off to high school.
