Do you remember being a child the excitement of a new box of crayons for Back to School? All yours to protect and organize by color or to rip the paper off and destroy as you like?
In recent years, classrooms have made the shift towards shared materials for the sake of equity and ease of classroom management. But in our current situation, the days of shared materials (and shared germs) are over.
Help me provide my students with the joy that comes with having their very own materials and the safety that comes with organizing their materials and our classroom in a way that minimizes risk.
While students are working from home, these materials will support continuity in online teaching, lessen the burden of organization and lesson management for parents, and teach routines that will be used when we are able to return the classroom.
