AEEC students come to the Computer Lab once a week to build a basic knowledge in the world of technology. Here they learn technology terms, the parts of a computer and how to use them, proper keyboarding techniques, how to care for technology equipment, how to be safe online, how to build basic computer code, and so much more. Students get the opportunity to create their own artwork using digital art design programs, their first word processing documents, and digital slideshow presentations. Through hands on instruction and exposer to different types of technology, my Computer Lab students learn the importance of technology in our society and how to balance it in daily life.
