We are a small school in a small town with 100% of the children receiving free or reduced-price lunch. My students are amazing little people who work very hard to make me proud. Every day they do something that puts a smile on my face, whether it is repeating something they learned yesterday or earlier in the year, or writing a simple sweet note that says, "You are the best." Each student is special to me, and no matter where they come from I work hard to make them feel safe, happy, and excited about coming to school. Everything in my classroom besides table, chairs, and desks I have bought myself. I have either built, bought, or repurposed things given to me. In our class we are constantly up and down. Whether, it is between group rotations or finding their own spot to focus better in the classroom. These little learners have big dreams, and my goal is to help give them a jump start to those dreams.
