I am a PreKindergarten teacher in a low income NYC Title 1 school. I'm looking forward to teaching a new group of 18 students and want to provide them each with the best learning experience. Many of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. These students also come from low income homes and little or no English is spoken at home. The school I work at ranges from Grade PreK to 5th grade with about 1200 students. Despite our large numbers, our goal is to make each and every child special and can make a difference. PreKindergarten is the first learning experience for my students, and i want them each to love coming to school to learn.
