I serve 130 eight grade science students in a low income Northwest Chicago neighborhood. We are one of the largest Chicago elementary schools, with approximately 1400 enrolled k-8 students. My students are predominantly Hispanic. They are super nice, enthusiastic kids that are very willing to learn. Therefore, I am consistently seeking grants and donors that can help me educate them to their fullest.
