I teach a wonderful high school band program at a Title I school serving students in grades 9-12. In spite of our low income status, our students have been able to achieve a great amount of success in our competitive organizations as well as on the concert stage. Through strong student leadership and an understanding that not having money is not an excuse, our students leave our school knowing that failure is never an option.
