The students in the class come from families of different ethnicities . The students have already started talking about the different skin colors that their peers have as well as with us(their teachers). We have fun talking about each other's similarities and differences. These materials (glue sticks and crayons)will help with create projects that will help the students learn more about others similarities and differences. The sand and dough will also help the students with self regulation and sensory needs to help with any social= emotional needs that comes from a new school year for the students.
