I share my classroom with a lovely bunch of hardworking, fun, and eager 1st graders! They are full of personality and each different from the next. We are a part of a Title 1 school, meaning the students here are from low-income families, and some are homeless. All the adversities of growing up with less does not mean that their education should be. These students deserve the same opportunities as any other child and can turn their hard lives around with a better education.
