"The greater your storm, the brighter your rainbow." My students have faced many storms over the years - from no textbooks to no playground to no technology - but they always persevere. My students give me the drive to help them get all of their needs met and help them discover their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
My students come from a very low income neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Despite their many struggles, my students come to school with the desire to learn and goals they have set. I do my best, each and every day, to help them acheive the success they crave. I want my classroom to be the safe nurturing environment they need to grow and develop into their best selves.
