The students at our school are wonderful students! Unfortunately many have lack of support at home which makes it difficult for them to always be successful within the classroom. We live in an area of high poverty where the teachers and students are not provided with all of the resources necessary. The teachers have to put out a lot of their own money to bring in fun and engaging activities within their classrooms. As a newer teacher, the money required for these materials is not always feasible which is not fair to the students.
