Lives will be changed when our ASD classroom receives STEAM supplies. The children come each morning ready to learn and excited to encounter new things. While using all donations you provide the children will be exposed to concepts of color, texture, shapes, construction, weight. Each new item will also provide an opportunity for small and large motor development. They will go outside to play and be able to paint on the easel with big movements, enjoying mixing paint colors and using brushes to create their art. At the science center, they will use magnets, droppers and the scale to begin to understand science concepts. Finally, the manipulatives will build strong hands, build coordination and provide opportunity to build, connect and create structures, forms, and shapes to begin understanding math concepts.
