I have 30 amazing fifth and sixth grade students at a socioeconomically, ethnically, and linguistically diverse elementary school in West Contra Costa County. They have a correspondingly wide range of strengths, needs, interests, and experiences. I work daily to create a classroom environment that is welcoming, safe, rigorous, and fun so that my students and I can be our best selves, learning and growing together as a classroom community.
