Who doesn't love a good novel study? These books will allow all students to have a copy of the book while we are reading. Unfortunately, when novel studies are assigned, many students do not get the book for various reasons. If a whole grade level is reading the book, the library is not able to accommodate all students and let's face it-books are expensive! This donation will give all of my students the opportunity to participate and interact with literature. Our school is moving to a project based learning school format and these books will help support that. I do not want socioeconomic status or limited resources to be reasons why students do not have access to books.
