My students will be at home for the next six months due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We were not allowed to enter our school building to get the most basic of supplies. Specifically, we were not able to get any of our books or visual materials. Due to this, we have been unable to incorporate read alouds into our virtual circle times.
As preschool special education teachers, it is vital that we have plenty of books and visuals in order to promote their language and literacy development during this unique time! Now that these students are home, we need additional items, such as ink and paper to continue to create and share visuals for our students during this time. These books and visuals will help us to individualize our virtual learning for our young students. Thank you so much for your support in helping our students be successful during this extended school break!
