Many of my students have little to no help with reading at home, so I have to give my them every chance I can at school to become better readers.
Though most of my students are struggling readers, they still have a love for reading.
Each of my students has an iPad, but they are unable to listen and follow along to books being read aloud without headphones. Since our school is low-income, many students cannot afford headphones. Typically, the headphones that are purchased are very cheap and don't last long due to getting broken or they just stop working.
